About Livia

I am a special educator with 16 years of professional experience post bachelors degree. Also, I have masters degree in Instructional Technology. Although, I technically haven't had any paid experience as a "Tutor," per say, I have mainly worked on a one-on-one type setting teaching students life skills, reading, writing and spelling. I have extensive experience in the Early Intervention field, as well as school age children up to 5 years old, servicing children with Down Syndrome, Autism & PDD. I have mainly worked as a home-based provider, but have also worked with special needs children in preschools & Daycare facilities. My experience with special needs extends further, including growing up with a younger sibling with special needs. I am very passionate about my profession and most importantly have life long experience with special needs individuals.
