About Loraine

Loraine has nannied for me on Saturdays since my 2 children were about 4 & 3. Then she nannied for my youngest daughter on Saturdays since she was a newborn. In addition to nannying for my children on Saturdays, I’ve run into Loraine in the park before with the children she nannied for full time! I tried to hire her full time but when I needed to fill the role she was already committed to another family full time Monday - Friday. She’s very honorable. Loraine is extremely responsible, followed my requests beautifully, and was always well prepared to be active with the kids. With my youngest as a newborn, she was exceptionally nurturing, empathetic, and absolutely LOVED being with her. Loraine is the type of person who gets right down on the floor and plays with the kids. Loraine drove my children too, she took them to playgrounds, and to the gym where they do swim lessons, to the library, errands, etc. She’s a confident personality, healthy & in good shape to take the baby for long walks in the stroller. She likes being active with the kids. Very capable. The oldest of my 4 children is 18 now and my youngest is 3. I never put any of them in daycare, I was very fortunate to have wonderful Nannie’s through the years. But it is HARD WORK finding the right candidate who can not only offer you the level of commitment you need, but who also embodies the character traits you want your child raised with. Loraine is a gem, and Nannie’s like her are rare. They’re available once every few years it seems!
