About Loraine

Hello! My name is Loraine, and I bring 8+ years of experience working with students ages 5-15 in both academic and creative subjects. I hold a degree in Business Administration and began college in Early Childhood Education, which gave me a strong foundation in teaching and child development. My tutoring journey started at the Boys and Girls Club, where I supported underprivileged children and children of immigrants, often using my Spanish to bridge language gaps. I have also worked with students who have ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences, adapting lessons by breaking concepts into steps, using visuals, and creating routines to keep students engaged and confident. Beyond academics, I'm certified in Graphic Design and teach Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom. I also teach beginner clarinet, focusing on theory and the joy of playing.
