I am a patient, loving, and playful person who would love to help you with your little one(s). I built my career in hotel management but, due to the pandemic, I unexpectedly became a SAHM mom. Even more unexpectedly, I found my calling in childcare! I have found so much purpose and joy in nannying. I know how challenging it can be to find trustworthy, reliable childcare. I can be that person! I can help with housekeeping, cooking and laundry, among other things. I have a son at Pittsburgh Montessori who will be starting kindergarten this year! We’ve had the incredible good fortune of having Lucy in our lives for the past two-plus years, and we can't recommend her highly enough. We got to know Lucy as part of a nanny share that we joined more than two years ago. Lucy was responsible for taking care of our 1 year old daughter, and another girl the same age. The depth of her warmth, patience, and care with our daughter was truly a gift to us. Her professionalism in interacting with us was excellent, and she provided the right level of communication for our needs. From day one, she impressed us with her ability to manage multiple young children calmly and lovingly. She’s everything you’d hope for in someone taking care of your children – reliable, nurturing, experienced, and endlessly engaging. She regularly takes the kids on outings, drives her car or ours, and goes to parks, pools, the children’s museum, Phipps, the Carnegie Museum of History, the Aviary, and the Science Center etc. – she doesn’t just “watch” the kids, she actively enriches their days. At the end of this spring, the other family in our nanny share moved out of town, and we have had the pleasure of having Lucy full time this summer, looking after our three kids (ages 3, 6, and 8), and they absolutely adore her. We recommend Lucy wholeheartedly and without hesitation. She will be a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to work with her.
