My calling to care for others stems from a genuine desire to support adults and seniors in maintaining their independence and well-being. Previous experiences have solidified my passion for making a positive impact on their lives. I am patient, compassionate, and friendly, and I always strive to understand a care recipient's preferences and personal history to build a strong connection. I communicate with families through written daily reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. With two years of experience, I am adept at adapting to changing routines and handling confusion or agitation. I am also skilled in providing transportation, running errands, home health, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medical management, mobility assistance, and encouraging physical activity. I have completed some college coursework and hold current CPR Training. I am also comfortable around pets. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
