About Lucy

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm 20 years old. I'm an elementary/special education major at SUNY Geneseo and recently received my associates in Teaching Education at GCC. My class schedule when attended allowed me time to gain plenty of experience such as Substituting for Batavia City School District, nannying, and more! I have over a year of childcare experience as a lead daycare teacher at Bright Path Batavia. In this role, I oversaw the care and wellbeing of 8-16 children at a time, while also planning fun activities that met student interests! I am also CPR and first aid certified. I have babysitting, housesitting, and dog sitting experience and am a competent cleaner. When I am not in school, I also coach for the Batavia Junior Varsity Winter guard the Eastridge Lancer Marching Band, and youth soccer for Batavia Soccer Club in the spring. I have plenty of references and experience in child-care as well as classroom settings that have provided me with an immense skillset! :)
