About Luz

My experience has been working with Spanish-speaking elementary students as an interventionist, supporting their academic and emotional development. I focus on identifying individual needs and implementing personalized strategies, especially in reading, language, and behavior. I create a safe, respectful, and motivating environment where students feel understood in their language and culture. I collaborate closely with teachers and families to strengthen their skills and confidence. I can also assist students with English homework, helping them build understanding and succeed in a second language. My goal is to promote confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
