About Lyric

Nurturing young minds is a true passion of mine. My goal is to positively impact children's lives while providing families with reliable care. I currently work as a registered behavior technician for children 1-6 with autism and have previous experience in elementary teaching. I am comfortable caring for 2 children at a time. I hold a bachelors degree in psychology and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I am also certified in basic life support, first aid and CPR for adults and children/infants. I'm patient, creative, and approachable. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents however is preferred with verbal communication at pickup and regular updates via text or phone calls. I enjoy playing with kids in whatever way makes them happiest such as with board games, puzzles, outdoor sports, and educational games. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, homework help, swimming supervision, and more!
