About Mackenzie

Hi! My name is Mackenzie. I have my BA in Educational Studies, and am a credentialed teacher. I have worked in grades ranging from PreK-3rd, and volunteered 120+ hours in elementary classrooms during my 4. 5 years of study. During college I was able to double as a nanny and tutor for families, and worked hands on with children inside the classroom teaching small group and whole class lessons frequently. I have a background in creating lesson plans, teaching, and finding ways to differentiate academic content based on the learners needs. I would love to get into tutoring more often and helping students behind the scenes. I have a passion for working with children, and would enjoy helping in any way I can!
