About MacKenzie

Hi! I'm a former teacher currently working in special education at TGA. I've worked with kids of all ages--from infants in daycare to kindergarten classrooms--so I'm comfortable meeting children where they are and supporting their unique needs. I've also spent several summers working at camps with kids ages 4-11, supervising large groups, planning activities, and even driving to field trips. I love helping kids have fun while staying safe and learning along the way! I'd describe my personality as nurturing, engaging, and reliable. I like working with kids because they're always learning and see the world as a fun place to explore. I've only ever worked with children from babysitting my cousins at a young age, working in daycares throughout high school and college, and I've been teaching as some capacity ever since. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside with my dogs, hangout with my husband, or work on house projects in our new home.
