About Maddie

Hello! My name is Maddie and I work as a K-2 Teacher at a non-profit in St. Paul. My first ever babysitting/child-care experience began when I worked as a helper at an in-home daycare in my neighborhood. I worked there from ages 13-15, and have been CPR/First Aid certified since 5th grade. I'm a recent graduate of St. Thomas as an English and Family Studies major. I grew up in SLP and recently moved to Edina. I've been working professionally in child-care, teaching, case-management, and family services since 2023. My internship at the K-12 School in Ronald McDonald Charity House is where I really fell in love with the work. Weekday Availability: - M-F after 7 p.m. Weekend Availability: - Saturdays and Sundays, flexible :) At my current position as a K-2 Teacher, some of the main components of my job are Social Emotional learning, literacy, and homework tutoring. I'm happy to help with any homework or reading in addition to general babysitting duties.
