About Maddy

I like working with kids because I love experiencing the world through their eyes, watching them develop personalities and opinions, and their general excitement for what the world has to offer them I started working with kids when I was 13, small babysitting jobs here and there, before making it my part time and eventually, full time job as a teenager and adult. In my spare time, I like to read and write stories, I love music in every form. One thing you should know about me is I have a dynamic disability, which means my physical capabilities are different each day, depending on how good or bad my chronic pain is. But, I do have pain management, and because of that, it doesn't affect my ability to work as much as it used to. My skills include emotional regulation (kids have big feelings, and that's okay!), creative thinking for games that help kids learn and grow, and care! Every kid I've worked with is treated like my own, I love them so much!
