About Madeline

Madeline is a bright and motivated young woman. She has many leadership skills and has excelled in many areas of her life. While in high school, Madeline was a member of the National Honor Society, an Illinois State Scholar, and captain of her field hockey team. She also received many awards for her leadership on her field hockey team and in her academic life. Madeline is the second of four children in her family. She has been an excellent role model to her siblings. She has assisted on many occasions, babysitting, making dinner and doing laundry. She provides great inspiration to children who she is in charge of and leads. She has served as a volunteer on two youth mission trips, at Vacation Bible School, and at a Youth Resource Center, where she was a tutor to elementary children who needed extra academic help. Madeline is now finishing up her first year of college at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is studying environmental management. She is passionate about being a good steward of her environment and desires to pass her knowledge of the protection of the environment on to others she meets. Madeline enjoys running and is planning on participating in a half-marathon this summer and a full marathon next October. Madeline is a bright light in this world. She approaches all she does with enthusiasm and determination.
