About Madeline

I am a college graduate of Michigan State University, with a Bachelors in Political Science/Pre Law. I have relocated to the Raleigh area, have currently taken the LSAT and plan on attending law school in the future. I have lots of experience with children, and have been a full time nanny for three kids for the past 2 years. My duties as a nanny included school drop-offs and pick ups, meal prep, nap time, house cleaning, and activity planning. I have also worked as a daycare assistant for children ages 3 months-5 years. My duties as a daycare assistant included supervising many children at once, changing diapers, and preparing meals. As a nanny, I love to incorporate hands on learning and creative ways of teaching, while still keeping the child's safety and happiness my priority. I love to teach kids new ways to have fun, and make sure they stay active and engaged. Caring for kids is so rewarding to me, and is an amazing opportunity!

Maddie was the best thing that happened to our family in this crazy 2020 year! When Maddie first started watching my 18 month old daughter her pediatrician had brought up early intervention due to her being behind in her language skills. After six months under Maddie's care, my daughter is now ahead in all her milestones including language! My daughter (and dog for that matter) used to excitedly wait at our front window until Maddie came walking up the front porch because they enjoyed spending time with her so much. Along with the amazing care she gave our daughter, Maddie was incredibly helpful in keeping our home tidy and inviting while my husband and I worked extremely long hours throughout the pandemic. We still keep in touch with her since her move a couple months ago (she even traveled several hours for our daughters birthday party!) because she truly became a part of our family. I can't say enough wonderful things about her, she was the BEST nanny we have had and we miss her terribly!!!
