My great grandmother had dementia and I would often go to her house a couple times a week in the afternoons to watch over her and spend the night. With that I would also help her to the bathroom/showering and putting on clothes. She also had dementia so I have good experience with that as well. Unfortunately she passed away a couple of months ago but I helped take care of her the past two years which I am so grateful for since it gave me more personal time with her. I also work at an independent/assisted living home in the dining room so I have a lot of experience with older people!
