About Madyson

Hi, my name is Madyson. I am a junior at Southern Illinois University and a Carbondale native, majoring in psychology. I am responsible, adaptable, and love making time with kids fun and meaningful. I began working with children as a gymnastics instructor and currently teach camps through the SIU track team. I also work as a lifeguard at the SIU Rec Center and am certified in lifeguarding and first aid. During the summer, I serve as a head lifeguard at the CS Park. I enjoy that every day is different, and I take pride in helping kids reach their goals, try new things, and laugh along the way. Child safety is very important to me, and I always make sure children feel supported, cared for, and safe. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, painting, staying active with track, and participating in campus activities. Families can count on me to be reliable, caring, and focused on creating a safe, positive environment for their children.
