Hi there! I have lived in Bloomington my entire life and have participated in a lot of reproductive labor in this town over the course of my adult life. I have worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Crestmont, the Early Childhood Program at Harmony School, and have taught children ages 6-14 in gymnastics and circus arts for many years. I currently live on a farm 20 minutes north of town where I grow and sell flowers in the summer months and share the land with another family and their two children. I love doing outdoor and physical activities with children and find this to be so important for their mental health. Mostly, I am amazed by their overwhelming wonder of the world, and their creative ideas which inspire me everyday. I believe it is important to stay calm and relaxed with kids, which allows me to be firm and taken seriously when a situation arises concerning safety or responsibility.
