About Maija

Hello, my name is Maija and I'm very excited about the opportunity to become a nanny for your family. I have hands-on experience working with children of different ages and needs through my past roles at Goldfish Swim Academy and in the childcare area of a gym facility. I've also had the privilege of working directly with clients with disabilities, which has strengthened my ability to be patient, adaptable, and supportive in any environment. Some of the skills I bring include patience and calm under pressure, basic teaching and homework help, arts and crafts for creative play, and a strong focus on child safety. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I have experience with special needs care, fitness activities, healthy cooking, and light housekeeping. I'm also comfortable with transportation and can safely drive children to and from activities. My goal as a nanny is to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where your children can grow, learn, and feel supported every day.
