About Maile

Maile was our full-time nanny for an invaluable two-and-a-half years, and our separation occurred only because of an unexpected interstate move on our part. When we had to return this past summer, Maile was a lifesaver, demonstrating her unwavering commitment and dependability (as she always does). She truly is someone who always shows up—not only is she completely trustworthy, but she consistently goes above and beyond, even coordinating her friends and family to help us during our most last-minute needs. We always knew we could rely on her completely, and I never questioned whether my children would be healthy and, more importantly, happy in her care. Maile has seamlessly cared for every age group in our family, from our 3 and a half-month-old infant to our toddlers and older children. You have seriously won the lottery should she choose to work with you! Maile has an exceptional, natural gift with children; she adores them and truly knows how to connect and communicate with them. She is incredibly vigilant, cautious, and excels at managing and diffusing challenging situations. We often felt she was better with our children than we were! Even now, our kids adore her and constantly ask about her, as she has always stayed in contact with our family. Honestly, she is more than just a nanny—she’s a family member – who took immense initiative and responsibility for our household. We cannot recommend Maile enough and are so excited about her new chapter, though we will deeply miss the ease of calling on her for last-minute care and even overnight stays. Maile would be an absolute asset in any role, particularly managing a household, nanny share, or with any number of children she is comfortable with.
