About Maira

I am 36 years old. I have a 9-year-old daughter who has taught me so much about being both a mother/child care provider. Over time, I've also learned how to see the world from a child's perspective-not just an adult's. Children bring me a natural sense of joy and positive energy. Over the past 20 years, I've worked with children ranging in age from 3mos to 12yrld. Although my experience spans many age groups, I adapt well to each child's developmental milestones. I've worked with six families, with whom I've built both professional and close relationships. Some of my responsibilities included transportation, following and implementing family routines, and caring for the children's overall well-being. I consider myself a caring, responsible, respectful, and reliable provider. I'm looking for a family where mutual respect is valued-a family that can be flexible and open to allowing my daughter to accompany me when needed. She's wonderful with children! :)
