About Maiya

I'm passionate about caring for children, and I have extensive experience babysitting and pet sitting throughout the years which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I'm known for being patient, calm, and friendly, and I make it a point to communicate regularly with parents about their child's day. I'm happy to follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules and am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have some graduate-level coursework in early child development, and I'm also fluent in both English and Spanish. I enjoy playing all sorts of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles. I also like to play educational games that promote learning.
