Experience: 10 yrs
***Availability: February 2026 I'm a positive, energetic mother of two with a degree in Early Childhood Education and over two decades of experience, including as an elementary school teacher in addition to working in daycare settings with infants to Pre-K, focusing primarily on infants & toddlers. For the past 5 years, I've been a full-time caregiver, supporting two boys through milestones like walking, talking, and potty training. I create engaging routines with arts, crafts, park visits, and hands-on learning to promote creativity, language, and cognitive growth. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, a trained Nursing Assistant, and knowledgeable in child nutrition. I prioritize a safe, structured environment that encourages emotional and cognitive development. I'm seeking a full-time nanny position where I can continue supporting infants and toddlers. References from my current family are available.
We have had the pleasure of Majlinda being our full-time family nanny for the past 5 years. She first came to our family when our oldest was ~6 months old, and now takes care of both our 5yr and 3yr old sons. Majlinda is extremely skilled with young kids and very dedicated to her work – she truly treats our sons like they were her children. During the early years, she would manage feedings and naps, and as our infants turned to toddlers she pivoted to helping make puree and teaching ABCs / 123s. As the kids continued to grow, she continued to adapt, doing things like making the kids scrambled eggs for breakfast and taking them to the local park on their scooters and bikes to play. She has the ability to understand what is needed and a willingness jump-in to make it work – whether figuring out breakfast / lunch when there is no plan, or occasionally staying longer than planned when we were running late from work. Her work ethic is impeccable, she loves what she does, and is always understanding of the children’s needs (which can be a challenge at times). She has become part of the family. Both of our children will be starting school in Fall 2025 so we no longer need a full-time nanny. We would be happy to speak with anybody interested in having Majlinda join their family.
