I would recommend hiring Makayla. She was very reliable and showed up on time to her one time sitter job through care.com. Makayla stayed with my kids for 12 hours and my girls loved her. 

I have had Makayla in my home for 6 months now as an overnight care giver. She is great! Although we had to part ways due to me not needing a sitter anymore I would hire her again! She is very good with young aged kids.

Makayla was great with my 6 month old son. She bottle fed my son , cleaned my son, and made breakfast for my son. I hired Makayla through care.com and would hire her for future needs. 

I was excited for Makayla to start with us but she flaked. After agreeing to start a recurring schedule, she did not respond when I checked in the day before to make sure we were still all set. Early the next morning, she texted me an excuse for why she didn’t respond and said she was still coming to help out if needed. I responded that I did still need her and sent over more information but never heard back.

Makayla arrived on time. She watched my 3 kids overnight while I went on vacation. She also cared for my dogs as well

very considerate and well organized. Makayla followed my outline schedule routine for my daughter , and had her ready for bed

I hired makayla last night for a date night sitter through care.com at the hotel and she was amazing! She was on time 10 minutes early, made my kiddos dinner, bathed my 2 year old, and even came with toys for my kids! 

I hired Makayla on 4/21/2024. Makayla was an excellent sitter! She picked up my 3 year old son from daycare , fed my son, played activities with my son including learning activities, got my newborn baby bathed and ready for bed as well. Makayla was hired by me as an on call sister and was an Excellent sitter! 

She is very trustworthy & honest my kids love her & she’s respectful 💜

Makayla just didn’t show up. She didn’t give me a heads up or an apology after the fact - she didn’t even respond to my text asking if she was going to come after the promised time had passed.

Makayla was very considerate and helpful when watching my kids. She left my house in good condition(clean and my kids ready for bed) My daughter absolutely loved Makayla they bonded well and sadly it was only a one time care job. I would definitely hire her again for future times I need a sitter.

Makayla watched my kids 3/26 from 12am-7am while I worked overnight. She was great and made my son breakfast when he woke up! Makayla left my house clean and was nice to my kids. I’m impressed for an 18 year old great job Makayla!

She was respectful. My kids loved her they keep asking where she is . She so helpful and honest . She is kind and truly one of the best caregivers I have put around my children. Our bond is fantastic she is a great teacher for my kids. Truly a weight off my shoulders . Thank you Makayla ❤️

Makayla called in sick after her very first day, claiming her mom was in the hospital, even going as far as sending a photo of her mom intubated the same day she was supposedly picked up by her. However, this photo was grainy and timestamped just 16 minutes after her shift ended. We asked her about that and she claimed her aunt ended up picking her up and that her cousin sent her that photo. Multiple problems with this story: 1. She claimed she had no other family in town, 2. She told my husband her mom was right outside our house to pick her up based on her having shared GPS access to her location, and 3. There's no way the mom was having a serious medical issue and nobody told her earlier. 

She lacked communication during the two days she missed to let us know if she'd be able to come in or not and didn't show up the following week, nor communicate anything with us. 

Her communication is terrible and she is extremely dishonest. I would not trust this kind of person with my children.

Makayla is an overall great sitter! She took great care of my babies, and was always on time for her one time shifts. I would definitely recommend hiring her she would as awesome!

Makayla is very professional and helpful! She took good care of my kids and we loved having her. I would definitely hire her for full time if I needed her!
