About Makenzie

I am the fourth child of seven children and an aunt to 4 adorable nieces and nephews. I was often a babysitter for families in my community from the time I was 12 years old. I also have 10 years of experience working with children in and out of school, one of those years including in home services as an RBT for children with autism. I'm moving to Laie to finish my degree in TESOL in order to teach English to children in Korea. Teaching children has always been my goal and I have a habit of making every moment for children a learning experience in some way. I was blessed to be born with a lot of patience so I am usually quite calm. In my spare time, I like to watch Asian dramas! I am in the process of completing my certificate of proficiency in Korean and know a decent amount of Chinese as well.
