About Makenzie

I believe childhood is sacred and I'm passionate about helping children flourish emotionally, spiritually, and developmentally in my care. Nurturing children has always been one of my greatest joys & dreams. With a deep love for Jesus, I bring warmth, patience, dependability, and organization to every home. My childcare experience began in my early teen years, over five years working as a hired babysitter and nanny. One summer, I cared full-time on weekdays for three children (ages 4, 6, and 10), consistently leading positive activities, creative play, structured routines, and meal prep while fostering thoughtful relationships with each child & dependable homemaking. As the oldest of five siblings (ages 0-17), I've naturally grown into a leadership and nurturing support role - caring for my 2yo sister daily since her birth, and even assisting as doula during my mother's past two home births. Through the years, I've been present in child growth, development, and needs.
