About Makenzie

Hi! My name is Makenzie, I'm 20 years old, and I'm a Business Management student at UNT Dallas. I'm a responsible and caring caregiver with hands-on experience as the oldest of four siblings, helping raise my younger siblings, who are now 6, 14, and 18. I also have experience working with nonprofits and serving at my church, Harmony, which strengthened my patience, responsibility, and care for others. I love working with kids because it brings out my inner child. Growing up as the oldest sibling taught me how rewarding it is to help children feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I enjoy watching them learn, grow, and gain confidence. I also have a dog named Miley, so I'm very comfortable caring for pets. In my spare time, I like working out, reading, listening to music, playing with my dog and little sister, and going on adventures. Families can trust that I'm responsible, attentive, and caring--I treat kids and pets like they're part of my own family.
