About Makenzie

I am a college student who has a major in communications with a concentration in journalism as well as a double minor in sociology and international studies. I took AP courses in high school in english, literature, human geography, and psychology which I received credits for and recently did a year studying in france. I can help children in areas such as writing, reading, french language, and elementary math and sciences. I have worked with children as I was a camp counselor for 3 years and have worked at the YMCA and am also currently employed there as a seasonal staff. I also have babysat for multiple families. I have worked with children from ages 3 all the way up to high school students who I mentored as a senior counselor. With this experience, I often times helped the elementary/middle school aged children with homework. I also have a little sister who is currently 9 years old and therefore I have a lot of experience helping younger children with homework/school projects.
