About Maki

I've been babysitting a pair of twins for the past two years, and they're now 4 years old. During our time together, I focus on keeping screen time to a minimum and instead engage them in hands-on, age-appropriate activities whether that's playing interactive games, doing simple crafts, reading together, or imaginative role-play that helps them learn and express themselves. I also have four years of experience as a coach for my former synchronized swimming team, where I worked with kids ages 6-12. That role taught me how to manage groups, communicate clearly, and create a positive, encouraging environment for children of different personalities and learning styles. Overall, I'm patient, active, and enjoy creating a fun, safe space for kids to learn and grow.
