About Makiya

Bringing comfort and support to seniors is my calling. For six years, I have provided assisted living care, nursing home care in skilleve-in care and assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, I assist with mobility support, medical management, and memory care activities. I am adaptable to changing routines and skilled at calmly handling stressful situations. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for. I also keep families updated through written reports, texts, or phone calls based on their preference. Patient, compassionate, and friendly, I value building meaningful connections with those I care for and treating every client with empathy and understanding. Note: I have a valid driver's license and can assist with transportation using the client's vehicle if available. Available for part-time, full-time, or overnight care.
