About Malaya

Safety and kindness have always been at the core of how I care for others. I love working with kids because it gives me the chance to encourage curiosity, creativity, and growth all of which are values that have shaped my own life. I hope to provide the same steady, positive presence for children that I was fortunate enough to receive. I first started babysitting in high school, spending summers with one family's two kids and helping out for neighbors when they needed an extra hand. Over time, I've learned the value of patience, flexibility, and finding small ways to make everyday moments fun and meaningful. Outside of caregiving, I'm a Mechanical Engineering student planning to pursue a master's in Biomedical Engineering. In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, and finding creative outlets that often spill into how I connect with kids. My goal is to give families peace of mind while creating a safe space where children feel supported, understood, and encouraged to grow.
