About Maleah

Hello! My name is Maleah. I am a recent graduate from the Ohio State University with my bachelors in Social Work. I am an experienced and dedicated tutor with a strong passion for helping young students in grades 1 through 8 build a solid foundation in their academic journey. Over the past several years, I have worked closely with elementary school children, providing one-on-one and small group support in core subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science. In reading and language arts, I focus on phonics, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I use age-appropriate texts, interactive activities, and writing exercises to engage students and make learning enjoyable. In math, I help students strengthen number sense, understand basic operations, and build problem-solving strategies. I use visual aids, manipulatives, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts more tangible.
