Learning is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding students along the way. With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I adapt my teaching by actively listening and observing your child's initial interactions with new material. I also vary my teaching strategies. Regular parental check-ins and seeking feedback are important to me. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have a car and am willing to tutor at your home, online, or at a coffee shop. I can help with elementary school math and test preparation. I also hold certifications in CPR and First Aid.
