About Manbeena

My career as an educator has taken me from teaching creative writing to third graders in India, to being a fifth-grade classroom teacher in Texas, to serving as the national Education Director for a non-profit organization for eight years. I also have a wealth of experience in tutoring K-12th grade students in every subject area both with a tutoring agency as well as private instruction. I have also recently obtained my Level 5 TEFL certification and have tutored corporate employees in Business English. AT THE CURRENT TIME, I am only interested in teaching English as a foreign language to high schoolers and adults. I am willing to travel for tutoring sessions, but depending on the distance, I will assess a travel fee. Alternatively, I am open to meeting at a coffee shop or library for tutoring sessions. I live in Koreatown, so if we were to meet here, there would be no travel fee.
