About Marcie

Hi! I'm Marcie, and caring for others, whether animals or people has been a lifelong calling. I've been CPR trained since I was 12 years old, started as the neighborhood babysitter, and moved into geriatric care at 20, where I received specialized Alzheimer's and dementia training. For the last three years, I've worked for a children's hospital as a Critical Care Transport EMT, providing high-level care during medical transport for some of the most fragile patients. My background has shaped me into someone who is calm, dependable, gentle, and highly attentive in any situation. My experience also includes extensive work with individuals on the autism spectrum. I'm skilled in supporting a variety of communication styles, reading nonverbal cues, and creating calm, structured environments. Understanding sensory needs and adapting care to each person has become one of my strongest specialties and something I'm truly passionate about.
