I did her errands and food shopping, light meal preparation, administered oral medications and as her companion we had lively discussions about current events and I enjoyed listening to her life story. I am proud that with my help, my client was able to remain in her own home, surrounded by all that was familiar to her, for the last years of her life. Her quality of life was maintained greatly adding to her continued zest for living.
