About Margarita

For over 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher with experience in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I believe in empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I assess individual learning styles through active listening, open communication, and regular parental check-ins. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, and I prioritize building trust and providing regular updates to students and parents. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I am able to help with Math, English, and Foreign Language courses. I tutor students of all ages. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I would love to help your student achieve their goals!
