I truly enjoy assisting seniors in enhancing their daily routines and giving them a reason to hope and smile. Especially in this later part of their life when it becomes a little harder just to get up in the morning! I have 5 years of experience in caregiving. In assisted living, in home care, and rehabilitation facilities as well as hospice care. I have experience with Dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. I also was a live in caregiver 3 days a week. For one and a half years until my Client passed on hospice. CPR and First aid Certified! I can help with Transportation Services, cooking, light housekeeping, bathing and dressing. Oxygen, feeding tube and medication reminders. Transferring , physical therapy exercises, and outdoor activities.
Maria was truly a blessing to our family during one of the most vulnerable and challenging times in our lives. She cared for my aging mother with a level of compassion, professionalism, and expertise that is rare to find. From day one, Maria demonstrated an exceptional understanding of the needs of the elderly. She was knowledgeable, confident, and took initiative when needed—always assertive but never aggressive. We could rely on her completely; she was never late, never missed a shift, and brought a steady presence that gave us immense peace of mind. Maria worked the overnight shift and was always attentive to my mom’s needs, ensuring she was comfortable and cared for throughout the night. She was also incredibly kind and considerate, forming a special bond with my mom that made her feel safe, secure, and truly cared for. That relationship meant everything to us. Physically, Maria was strong and capable—able to assist and lift my mom with ease when needed. She also worked beautifully with the rest of the caregiving team, bringing a calm, organized energy to everything she did. When my mom’s health began to decline, Maria stepped in with grace and strength. She immediately organized the transition to a hospital bed, coordinated care with other caregivers, and guided us every step of the way. Even when she wasn’t on shift, she checked in regularly—her dedication went far beyond what anyone could expect. As we approached the final days, Maria sensed the time was near and gently helped prepare us. Her presence during that time was nothing short of angelic. We truly believe she was sent to us from heaven. Though my mom has since passed, we will forever be grateful for Maria’s care, love, and strength. She was a cornerstone in our caregiving journey, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Anyone lucky enough to have her care for their loved one is in the best hands possible.
