About Maria

Hi, my name is Maria. I have experience babysitting a 3-year-old, 6-year-old, and 11-year-old. My most recent experience was as an as-needed babysitter for a 6-year-old girl. I assisted in helping her with her reading comprehension. I also worked at a summer camp at Pen State University three summers in a row with children 5-14 years old. I also worked with children at ESL classes. I am friendly and patient and enjoy working with kids through music, art, writing, and drama. I am a 2025 NYU graduate with a degree in English and a minor in psychology, focusing on child psychology. I currently work as a part-time bookseller. I am looking for an as-needed babysitting and/or tutoring position. I am open to doing housework, running errands, and caring for pets. References are available upon request.
