About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria, and I'm a mom of three with over 5 years of experience working with children of all ages. I'm a teacher who graduated from FIU with a degree in Exceptional Student Education, and I also hold endorsements in Reading and ESOL. I've had the joy of working with children with special needs, and I currently tutor in Reading and Math. Outside of work, I love music, reading, and staying active with outdoor sports. I'm a big animal lover and very comfortable with pets, I even work as a part-time dog walker. I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for kids, and I'd love the chance to care for yours. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, fun I like working with kids because they bring joy to my life. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and organized. In my spare time, I like to play the piano, sing, volunteer at church, learn a new recipe, ride my bike or run.
