My name is Mariah and I live in Santa Rosa with my wife and 2 children ( 2 &6) I'm a friendly, experienced, responsible nanny looking for a position with a new family. I especially enjoy working with infants and toddlers and have lots of experience with that age group, 10+ years. I believe that when working with kids you are making a promise to the parents, and children to do everything in your power to keep them safe and nurtured. I have wonderful recommendations from my past families and you can contact any of them, just ask for references. My rate is $25 to $30 an hour depending on number of kids and ages. I was previously a licensed EMT, and am CPR Certified. I have trusty Subaru outback. I enjoy going on outings with kids whether to the park, library, or just out for a fun walk. I also enjoy reading to kids, talking, playing and being silly. I believe in respectful caregiving and open communication and hope to find a family who values that as well.

Mariah is the best nanny and we were so thankful to have her as part of our family for many years! I knew she was the baby whisperer when my five month old (not a good sleeper) fell asleep in her arms during her interview. It’s nine years later and she is still my son‘s favorite nanny! Mariah has nannied for both my nine-year-old and two-year-old sons. She’s amazing with babies and older children alike. She is kind, gentle, incredibly patient and has so much fun with the kids. They absolutely love to be around her. I always felt like Mariah loved my children like they were her own and that was such a great comfort as a new mom. She also has a very calm energy, and I always felt confident that she could handle any situation that might arise with my two rambunctious boys. Anyone would be very lucky to have her as part of their “village.” I would highly highly recommend her. She’s an absolute gem and we love her!
