Hi, my name is Maria. I am CPR certified and have a strong academic background, taking multiple AP and dual enrollment courses. I have been recognized with several scholarships for my hard work and commitment to excellence. I am passionate about healthcare and plan to become a psychiatrist in the future. To prepare for this path, I have volunteered at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where I gained experience supporting patients and learning the importance of compassion in care. I also lead a mentorship program that helps high school students, especially immigrant and first-generation students, navigate the path to college. Families can count on me to be dependable, patient, and caring. Whether it is assisting with daily needs, offering companionship, or helping create a safe and positive environment, I always put others first.
