Maria is the best decision we made when we found out our first pregnancy was twins. Speaking to her took away my fears of two babies at once and as soon as they were home she took wonderful care of them. She got us on a schedule, was wonderful with my NICU baby, helped get them sleeping long stretches, and supported a medical issue that impacted ability to feed. Our newborn experience was so much better with her here. She’s also really easy to have in your home and I enjoyed her immensely. 

One tip for twin moms- account for adjusted age when determining contract length because it really does take 12 weeks adjusted to sleep full nights! 

Maria is an exceptional caregiver in so many ways! She got us through the first 14 weeks’ worth of nights with our baby boy, who was born prematurely by 7 weeks and was in the NICU for a month. She is kind, thoughtful and most importantly, very knowledgeable about how to care for newborns. From the very first night, we felt comfortable having her in our home. She has the emotional intelligence to know how anxious or nervous parents can be, and does a really good job of providing input without coming across as pushy. She was easily able to onboard to the apps we were already using (Nanit, Nara) to track our baby’s feeds & diapers, making the transition from night to morning very seamless. Our son was incredibly well taken care of and thrived under her care. Our goal for our time with Maria was to get help with getting him to sleep through the night, which involved planning his feed volumes, playtimes, etc in a schedule week-over-week. Maria was able to give us detailed plans and guidance on how to make it happen, and we’re thrilled that we were able to get to the place where our son sleeps through the night before her time with us ended. We would absolutely hire Maria again if we have another child! She is the best of the best!

We were so lucky to be able to work with Maria as our newborn care specialist for three months, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. As first-time parents, we truly didn’t know what we didn’t know. Maria guided us through every step with expertise, care, and patience.

She recognized that our baby likely had a cow’s milk allergy, something we never would have realized on our own. We would have assumed our baby was just upset on the bottle, but thanks to Maria, we were able to get the right help within days and avoid our baby being in discomfort. Even when we changed formula and altered the diet for milk, Maria still noticed excessive gas and signs of discomfort from our baby. Again, the signs were very subtle and not something we would’ve understood as first time parents. She referred us to the best pediatric gastroenterologist in Los Angeles where we finally sorted out our newborn’s tummy troubles. Maria also recommended other wonderful specialists including someone to help prevent “flat head” when our baby preferred sleeping to one side.

Her wealth of knowledge was invaluable. She taught us the best way to swaddle, when to transition to a sleep sack, how to administer medicine through a pacifier, how to follow a daytime schedule that set us up for the ultimate gift: our baby sleeping 12 hours at night.

Beyond her skills, her dedication and professionalism were unmatched. She always arrived early and stayed late in the mornings to ensure the baby was peacefully asleep before she would leave for the day. She treated our little one with genuine warmth and care.

If you are lucky enough to have the chance to work with her, I cannot recommend her enough.

Maria is a lifesaver! We are forever grateful for the 3 months she spent with our family. She not only took excellent care of my twin boys, but she also took care of ME during what could have been an extremely difficult period of time. When we were going through the hiring process, my husband & I both had our hesitations about having someone in our (very small) house, but all of my fears were immediately erased the moment Maria walked in the door the first night home from the hospital. She got straight down to business, quickly and calmly getting the babies settled & started to feed them without asking any questions. I knew we had made the right decision. 8pm could not come soon enough each day, especially in that first month. Maria would arrive right on time and usually a bit earlier. Maria would text me throughout the day asking about the babies and how I was doing as well. About 2 weeks before her time with us was over, the twins started sleeping through the night!

Maria is amazing!!! She helped with nights for 10 weeks with my baby girl. She has so much knowledge and experience with babies and I was able to sleep more knowing my baby was well taken care of. She's nurturing and loving and my daughter took to her immediately. She was always on time and went above and beyond and helped to laundry and cleaned up bottles/pumping materials, etc. She is the BEST! She often gets booked out quite in advance so if you are lucky enough to book her, DO IT!!

I interviewed Maria a while back for my first newborn and I thought she was great I wanted to hire her but she became unavailable when I reached out since I was late in hiring her. Now my second baby I thought I would like to hire her, spoke to her on the phone we were set to meet and interview again but she canceled on me due to not feeling well.. 
I reached out to her to see if we could reschedule and she completely ignored me and never gave me the respect to respond to me. I believe that she is a great person to hire but I can't speak about her reliability due to my experience in her interactions with me.

I don't even know where to begin other than to say... I call her Saint Maria. She was nothing short of a god send. Originally I booked her for 3 nights and we ended up increasing it to 5. Worth every penny. She was there the day we got home from the hospital. By 11 weeks, she had my twins sleeping through the night from 7pm to 7am. 12 hours!!! No middle of the night feedings. She's a genius. I'm kind of a control freak and I was able to let go and put all my trust in her. We begged her to stay on as our nanny. She set the bar so high it's been so hard to find a nanny as amazing as Maria. We could just see how much she loved our twins. We miss her so much already. Hire her... if you get the opportunity to... you will be so happy you did!

I wish I would of hired Maria when my daughter was born! She's been incredible so far! She's been with me for almost 2 weeks now and my 4 month old is already sleeping through the night! Maria is the best! We just finished with her as our night nurse a few weeks ago. We hired Maria for night douala/nanny services for our newborn. Maria is professional, friendly, on time, responsible, kind, and knowledgeable. We used Maria for our 2nd daughter who was born March 31, 2020. I had interviewed her And booked her in November 2019 and found her through the night nanny we used with our first born. She was the front runner out of the 3 I interviewed. Leading up to the birth of our 2nd daughter, I continually checked in with Maria to confirm she was healthy, quarantining (given the stay at home orders) and ready and willing to help us. Maria has always been super responsive over text and emails and she confirmed she was set to be our newborn care specialist. We are still using Maria and she's always prompt and has a great attitude.
