We hired Maria when I was heading out of town on business for three months. Her job was to come to our house in the morning to get our son ready for school and then take him there. Later in the day, she would meet him at school to pick him up, bring him home and get his dinner ready while my partner was on his way home. This was a challenging situation as it was hard on my son that I was going to be away. As a result, he resisted Maria at first. But she stuck in there and didn't take it personally. But the end of the time, he was really attached to her and was sad that she was going to go. We still use Maria to babysit from time to time, and our son really enjoys spending time with her. She's caring, very dependable, shows up on time and is flexible with her schedule. I would definitely recommend Maria as a care taker.
