About Mariana

Hi! My name is Mariana! Caring for children and supporting their growth is truly my passion. I'm originally from Chico, California, and currently living in San Francisco while attending San Francisco State University. I have over five years of experience working with children ages 4-12 through Chico Area Recreation District and school-based after-school programs. My background includes roles as a Recreational Leader, Camp Counselor, Summer Camp Coordinator, and Extended Day Program Leader, where I supported children academically, facilitated enrichment and outdoor activities, and helped create safe, structured, and fun environments. I'm patient, calm, and nurturing, while also confident in setting boundaries and enforcing household rules. I love encouraging creativity through imaginative play, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, and outdoor activities. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, bilingual in Spanish and English, and have experience communicating closely with parents and caregivers.
