About Maria

Nurturing children and watching them learn brings me immense joy. My 14 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, have equipped me with the skills to provide attentive and engaging care. I am patient, friendly, and comfortable enforcing household rules while creating a fun environment through outdoor games, puzzles, and educational activities. I grew up with a special-needs brother and have patience to work with children with special needs. I am a substitute teacher in Lincoln and certified in CPR and First Aid. I communicate with parents at pickup and follow their preferred communication methods. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I speak both English and Spanish. I find that connecting with each child individually makes every day a rewarding experience.
