About Maria

Learning comes naturally to some, and I love to help others discover their potential. With more then three years of experience, I provide personalized support to preschool and elementary school students. I strive to build confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I achieve this by varying my teaching strategies and encouraging open communication. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples is one of my specialties. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I worked for private school and public school district also I am also comfortable with pets and have a car. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor, and I'd love to help your student succeed.
