Hi! I'm Maria, an 18-year-old first year nursing student and certified Patient Care Technician with about 40 hours of hands-on experience at Hurley Children's Hospital. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have lots of babysitting experience, plus time as an assistant camp supervisor. I love working with kids, it's amazing to watch them grow, learn, and feel proud of themselves. I enjoy baking, crafts, and staying active with the kids I babysit. I'm not the type to just turn on a movie. I like to keep them engaged! I've cared for younger kids for years, and once I could drive I began babysitting more regularly. Now in college, I'm hoping to find a kind family I can build a real relationship with. Babysitting has always meant a lot to me, and I'd love to continue while I'm at school. In my free time I enjoy sewing, playing piano, and spending time with friends!

We hired Maria for a date night while visiting the area, and she was absolutely wonderful with our two girls. She was incredibly kind and patient, and when our younger daughter got a little nervous as we were leaving, she handled it beautifully and had her calm and happy in no time. Maria organized a fun dance party that had both girls laughing and having a great time. When we returned, they were fast asleep - clearly worn out from all the fun! We felt completely at ease knowing our children were in such caring, capable hands. We would definitely hire Maria again if we're back in the area, and any family would be fortunate to have her care for their kids. Thank you for making our vacation date night possible!
