Hi! I'm Carmen, a bilingual educator with 5 years of teaching experience in grades K-3. I am passionate about helping students build both academic skills and confidence in their learning. Currently, I'm finishing my Master's in Education with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), which allows me to support students not only academically but also emotionally, helping them develop self-awareness, resilience, and a love of learning. Throughout my teaching career, I've worked extensively with students one-on-one and in small groups, tailoring lessons to meet each learner's unique needs. I bring creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of early learning to every session, ensuring students feel supported while making measurable progress.
