About Maricruz

We are so grateful for our nanny and the positive impact she has had on our toddler’s life. She is very reliable and trustworthy, always punctual, never taking a sick day, and very proactive. My days are hands-free with her, and she shows up with the same positive energy every single time. In the 1.5 years she’s been with our family, she has taught him so many important everyday skills with patience and love, from sitting down to eat his meals and using utensils, to sharing toys, saying “thank you,” and even keeping his hat on in the sun. She gently encourages friendships and interactions with other children, which has helped him blossom socially. She found and fostered a steady group of friends for him. She goes above and beyond in every way and was a steady support during the many transitions our family went through. She helped us through our toddler’s daycare transition, not only doing drop-offs and speaking with his teachers but also sharing her feedback with us and helping us prepare him. She took care of our toddler overnight for several days when our family grew. She also seamlessly led our toddler through changes in routines when extended family visited for long stays. After our toddler transitioned to daycare, she continued to care for our newborn son. She understood the needs of a newborn and supported me in creating a sleep routine that helped him get into a consistent schedule. She has truly become part of our family. The only reason for our parting is that we are taking a long international trip. Any family lucky enough to have her will immediately see what a gift she is.
