I have worked in the home healthcare for over 37 years here in Arizona and California. My experience began with taking care of my ex-husband who is a paraplegic, for about 15 years. After that, I cared for a lady with multiple sclerosis for two years, , I did bathing, dressing, lifting, cooking and cleaning. Ran errands drove her to Drs appt. She was diabetic on a special diet. I cared for a gentleman who had a stroke and couldn't speak, requiring me to communicate with him via the alphabet chart. Most of my assignments have been word of mouth. I have built my reputation on providing care from the heart. I provided live-in care for a lady 81 that had a stroke, which affected her vocabulary. She had a speech problem, but the one-on-one attention was of a great benefit and we were able to communicate. I have cared for many clients in SCW till the end of life. I have experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's clients I'm honest trustworthy with excellent references
